(heh where that line break occurs here I had put a html tag: < / br> but it actually worked as html..... you get what I mean though.

Heh yeh I just realised it when you linked in the other request. Maybe putting a link under text boxes explaining markdown and so on would be handy??

Krang: that is just a SM / MM:S interface to the engine. I THINK (from looking) that it uses some engine UserMessage* commands at heart. Beyond that Im lost :P

It's easy to do - you can login and create / upload revisions to addons easy peasy with Python (there is a program written in something else in the utils section that already does) http://www.voidspace.org.uk/cgi-bin/voidspace/downman.py?file=upload_test.py is a good place to start :)
