Just keep holding onto that though, you may be surprised soon ;) Maybe something will come up

This can be done with Pythagoras therom: distance = sqrt((x - x1)^2+(y-y1)^2+(z-z1)^2) You can do this by running a nearcoord command, to get all players within a distance of event_var(x) event_var(y) event_var(z) on bullet_impact, then run the distance check for each player within the distance, then get the shortest distance of the all... -freddukes

What does this do? Get all the .bsp files and creates a map list from them all? Or does it work from maplist.txt?

Yeah I'd like this as well... But you can sort of do this with es.escinputbox although not to the extent cin would...

This would be cool rather than creating lots of es_createentitylist etc

I've coded this now... So it doesn't matter

We've already got showskills as a command... As for the mani clients.txt file, sorry, but it'll get a REAL big pain in the ass for us, and we can't do that.. As for the signup and you get 2k xp, hmm the only way we could do it is use URLIB2 to read an online database. If you have an online database set up, which automatically reads signups then adds them to a MYSQL database, then we may think about it... Other than that, it's impossible to do.

That didn't look so good... Hmmm... What I was trying to show was that addline will just add a normal line in anywhere. If you code it after an addoption, it'll appear after, before the option, it'll appear before the option in the popup. -freddukes

In progress... Thanks for the comment.

Hmm... Not really relevant to the mod, so I'll PM you the code which will do what you want

I like the idea, but maybe you could choose what you wanted it to say instead... e.g. .exitFormat("Laters") would change 10 to say "Laters" etc

Seems slightly unfair tbh... I'm gunna see how bad people want this before I add something like this in

Nice idea... I'll add it in...

Jeff means that it's kinda unfair to have all the terrorists with the strongest races... The way you are asking is to allow only ONE person, (only one from either team) to have this race... Now if for example, there were 3 t's and 3 ct's, and all the t's had races which take 1,000 levels to require and are 'unfair' races, then the CT's can't also have the races to balance it out... The way currently is more fair as if only 1 person from each team is allowed this, then 1 t is allowed the race, as is 1 ct to balance it... I'm gunna leave it the way it is unless you/others come up with a really good argument to change my feelings about the matter.

Done.. This will be in the next release of 0.8.6

Bad idea... But if you really want to do it, You'll have to mess with wcs.SetEventInfo() and wcs.GetEventInfo()... I'm not making the information public because people can seriously muddle up things... If you really want to change something, Just use wcs.Heal() or wcs.HealthAdd() etc in def prep_hurt(ev): The prep_hurt event is fully functional in the latest private beta... It will soon be out as a public beta...

So a player is only allowed to have 1 skill at a time??? Hmm... Please add more info... It don't sound like a very good idea but I s'pose I could add something in like this if it sounds okay....

hmmm.. Maybe, but it'd have to be in the detailed stats, not the top10 etc. I'll see how badly this is wanted first

Please aooreciate other peoples opinions, and disagree in a kind manner.. There is no need to 'blow a fuse' over what is an opinion. If you dislike the idea, mark it down, and we'll see what others think.

Done: wcs.Command().IsStuck(, [additional args]) def (isStuck, userid, [additional args]): print "Is %s stuck? %s" % (userid, isStuck) Running this when I'm stuck gets... "Is 3 Stuck - True" etc -freddukes

This has been done in the latest beta... race = wcs.Race('race name') race.registerAuthor('freddukes')

Nice idea - I'll code this at college when I get a spare lesson off (Most likely system's analysis - I'm ahead in that lesson) -freddukes

Hmm... SQLite is the only way I'm going to go; sorry... If you want a more stable but slower database you'll have to download version 1.2.6 from here. I am however trying to improve stability with the database. Sorry for the inconvenience -freddukes
