I changed them to "assigned requests" and "submitted requests" is that ok or would you reather the word request be removed also? "subbmited | assigned" was a little too vague?

I wouldn't know how to do this in flash/JS - if you'd care to help me there, sure. I could even go as far as to create an SDK so people can create their own things like this. If you'd rather it be an image - please give me an image/idea of how you'd like that to look.

You don't need BBCode to add links to http://featurelist.org <-- see? ;)

posted on 2008-02-01 12:33:06 by Venjax
Done on next refresh.

posted on 2008-02-01 12:34:56 by Venjax
If this request is only for links - then I'll reject this seeing bbcode isn't needed for links.

posted on 2008-02-01 12:39:26 by Venjax
We use a "funky" font to help prevent bots from reading them. We've made the font bigger to help humans. I've also prevented the passwords fields from repopulating. (Your password is encrypted at time of input, and we don't even know it to re-populate the fields). Marking this feature request as "completed" - hope it's satisfactory.

posted on 2008-02-13 15:08:41 by Venjax
There is a "request feature" link at the top of every page. For your added convenience it should automatically show the last project you requested in the drop-down box as well.

posted on 2008-02-17 11:48:34 by Venjax
I personally don't care much for this idea - people who update often would have a lot of different threads for the same script. I think the RSS feed for updates handles this nicer. Edit: Although I may be able to allow editing of the original announcement post. This has been something I've been thinking about for some time.

posted on 2008-02-17 11:57:16 by Venjax
Yeah, I might be able to add an " announce this update" link to the update info section. - I'll look into that. (it wouldn't be automatic though, you'd have to click the link as you do for the addon announcement itself.

Sorry, this site is not directly related to Mattie's forums like ESAM is. We can't force random project owneres to signup to Mattie Source forums just to submit their projects. We could have prepopulated the user database with the database from the forums - but that would have been some we had to do from the very start - kind of late now.

posted on 2008-03-07 20:07:02 by Venjax
Sorry, woots are based on THREADS. If you want two addons with differnt counts, you MUST make two different threads. There is no way around this.

This has been completed and will appear on the next site refresh - Thanks for the request!

posted on 2008-03-25 10:10:47 by Venjax
What browser do you use? The description box when submitting a request shows much more than 5 lines at a time. ( http://screencast.com/t/mEP3Wnvh713 ) is what it looks like in FF. I can make that even bigger if needed. The Comment fields are a little small, I can tweak those a little, but don't want the comment box to fill the entire screen or anything.

posted on 2008-03-25 10:19:58 by Venjax
I have increased both the size of the comment box and the description box when submitting a request - these changes will appear on next site refresh. - Thanks

Thanks for the heads up - the html tag support was left in by mistake. Instead of bbcode, however, featurelist.org uses markdown service for formatting text. http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax

posted on 2008-04-02 10:37:17 by Venjax
The markdown service we use allows this already. But it requires double line breaks. Like this...

posted on 2008-04-02 10:38:50 by Venjax
I guess it doesn't work in comments? It should. :(

posted on 2008-04-04 15:43:13 by Venjax
This was a bug, it's been resolved. - Thanks. This is how that works: Any group leader can assign/change status. Any group member can assign/change status. Any user ASSIGNED to the feature can assign/change status. Original author can NOT assign/change status.

posted on 2008-04-04 15:45:53 by Venjax

What if we did something like this: After they create the the rims url - on the success page, we could have a link that says 'Save this URL to my account so I can check stats' (better wording though!) Then when they click that, it asks them to login/signup. After that, we can allow them to log in to check stats on all of the urls they created. (just a thought)

posted on 2008-04-16 16:17:09 by Venjax
Umm. What's wrong with the esam we already have? Just add the XA tag to the XA stuff. I don't see us needing a full website just for XA. I could add a link to the menu that goes directly to XA tagged items if you wanted XA to have something special.

posted on 2008-04-17 03:55:20 by Venjax
You can already do that by moving the feature to the "duplicate" status. :P

This has been added, but the results are in XML not plain text. http://addons.eventscripts.com/sdk/search/search_string/search_field - Returns XML of search results. The search_field is the same fields that you can select from the pulldown menu on the front page. * addon - Searchs multiple fields within an addon. (name, desc, etc) * name - Addon Name * desc - Addon Description * user - All addons by a user * pvar - All addons by a public variable * esmin - All addons by minimum ES version

The w00t system would make multiple threads a rather bad idea. You can always add multiple thread links to the description itself, as well as you can add multiple languages in the description.
