How about you change the top 10 addons once in a while?
The same addons are there day in and day out. Quite rightly too, because they are good addons. However, how are new scripters going to get their scripts recognised when faced with those monolithic scripts that are currently on the "featured addons" page?
How about disqualify an addon from being shown on the "Featured Addons" list" after it has been there for a week, then refresh the list and let the script choose the addons below that in score (Or however you evaluate a scripts position on the featured list).
You could have a "All time best" scripts tab, with the cream of the crop there.

Done, we now display new addons instead of the same picked addons over and over.
